i love the idea of knee-highs with short skirts or dresses. i actually considered wearing a pair today. it's hard to know if this is the sort of thing that only tall people can wear. i'm not usually one to say "oh, i can't wear this color" or "oh, i can't wear this shape" etc etc, but i just don't know if there is literally enough leg on me to be able to wear these things. hmmmm....

this dress

on the topshop website this is the dress on the splash page for the dress category. it's one of the most interesting i've seen in a long time, and i'm pretty much obsessed with it. of course, it doesn't seem to actually be on the topshop website and i can't find out if it was even mass produced for sale. i want this. well, of course i would need to try it on to see just how obscene it would look.... but still. way too good.
