after balenciaga put them front and center on the runway for their fall '09 collection sheer dotted tights seem to be flooding in everywhere.

this is definitely not a new trend, especially since i'm pretty sure i had a pair like this when i was younger. but then again-- when was the last time you saw this pattern on anyone above the age of ten? 

i'm not sure if i'm totally sold on them yet. they definitely need to be worn with a minimalist outfit because otherwise you could definitely look like a character from the TV show blossom or a misguided seventh grader. something about them makes me want to go for it, though.
